Our Online
Basic Course
is a prerequisite for the Advanced Course. There is no minimum education
requirement for this course, however you will not receive a refund
of fees after the course starts if you decide it is too difficult.
The Online
Basic Course can be completed in 12 weeks. It is essentially a self-paced
course and the minimum requirement is to complete the lessons and
the quizzes.
You will
receive course materials online (except for the study guide which
will be mailed to you). Lessons and exercises are online and you
can expect to spend about 3 hours a week on them. Once a lesson
is complete you may need to e-mail or snail mail any exercises to
us.
You will receive feedback on your work within 48 hours (Monday through
Friday).
The standard
for successful completion of the course is:
- Timely
completion of lessons
- Timely
completion of quizzes
The exercises
count for 60% of your final score, the quizzes count for 40% and
the final counts for 10% of the final score.
Once you
complete this online course you will be able to take the advanced
class online.
