Operations at Rapid Weather are normal. The NOAA/NCEP government servers from which we get data are experiencing considerable downtime, slow connections and missing data.

The 00Z GFS begins posting at 0545Z and the 00Z long range GFS (96 to 360 hours) posts at 0840Z.
The 06Z GFS posts at 1115Z.
The 12Z GFS begins posting at 1745Z through 180hrs and the 192-360 hr 12Z data posts around 19Z.

All map times (model and surface) are UTC. Some maps will post with an AM/PM time stamp. 2PM is the same as 1400 UTC.

All runs are being produced for the NAM and GFS. The GFS is being produced through 120 hrs four times a day, 180 hours twice a day and 360 hours once a day.

The NAM is now being produced to 60 hrs four times a day.

Isobars are plotted every 2 millibars.
